Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour, hereby:



(a) pursuant to paragraph 9(2)(b) and subsections 10(1) and 12(1) of the Canada Labour Code, reappoints Michele A. Pineau of Ottawa, Ontario, to be a Vice-Chairperson of the Canada Industrial Relations Board, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of four years, on a full-time basis;



(b) pursuant to section 12.04 of the Canada Labour Code, fixes her remuneration at the rate set out in the schedule hereto, which remuneration is within the range GCQ 6 ($133,500 - $157,100); and



(c) pursuant to section 117 of the Canada Labour Code, orders that Michele A. Pineau be deemed to be employed in the Public Service for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act;

effective January 1, 2003.

Sur recommandation de la ministre du Travail, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :



  • en vertu de l'alinéa 9(2)b) et des paragraphes 10(1) et 12(1) du Code canadien du travail, renouvelle le mandat de Michele A. Pineau, d'Ottawa (Ontario), vice-président du Conseil canadien des relations industrielles, à titre inamovible pour une période de quatre ans, à temps plein;


  • en vertu de l'article 12.04 du Code canadien du travail, fixe sa rémunération au taux spécifié à l'annexe ci-jointe, laquelle rémunération se situe dans l'échelle GCQ 6 (133 500 $ - 157 100 $);

  • en vertu de l'article 117 du Code canadien du travail, ordonne que Michele A. Pineau soit réputée faire partie de la fonction publique pour l'application de la Loi sur la pension de la fonction publique;


à compter du 1er janvier 2003.
