Whereas the Honourable Keith M. Boswell, a Judge of the Federal Court, has become afflicted with a permanent infirmity disabling him from the due execution of his office and has tendered his resignation;

Therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of Canada in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice,

(a) accepts the resignation of the Honourable Keith M. Boswell; and

(b) pursuant to paragraph 42(1.1)(b) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable Keith M. Boswell an annuity of $225,866.66, commencing on the day on which this Order in Council is made and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Keith M. Boswell, juge de la Cour fédérale, a donné sa démission pour incapacité par suite d’une infirmité permanente,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence l’administrateur du gouvernement du Canada en conseil :

a) accepte la démission de l’honorable Keith M. Boswell;

b) en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1.1)b) de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à l’honorable Keith M. Boswell, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 225 866,66 $, payable à compter de la date de prise du présent décret.
