Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 130(b) of the Public Service Employment Act, appoints Gérald Lafrenière of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Clerk of the Senate and Clerk of the Parliaments on an interim basis, to hold office during pleasure, until such time as a Clerk of the Senate and Clerk of the Parliaments is appointed, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GC 6 ($156,500 - $184,100), effective December 31, 2020.
Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du paragraphe 130b) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Gérald Lafrenière, d’Ottawa (Ontario), greffier du Sénat et greffier des Parlements par intérim, à titre amovible, jusqu’à ce qu’un greffier du Sénat et greffier des Parlements soit nommé, et fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GC 6 (156 500 $ – 184 100 $), à compter du 31 décembre 2020.
