Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, after consultation with the board of directors of Marine Atlantic Inc., pursuant to section 105 of the Financial Administration Act, appoints Gary Joseph O’Brien of Channel-Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador, to be Chairperson of Marine Atlantic Inc., to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, effective November 24, 2020.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports, après consultation du conseil d’administration de Marine Atlantique S.C.C., et en vertu de l’article 105 de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Gary Joseph O’Brien, de Channel-Port aux Basques (Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador), président de Marine Atlantique S.C.C., à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans, à compter du 24 novembre 2020.
