Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes

(a) the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to take the actions necessary to terminate, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Exchange of Letters constituting an Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America concerning Imports of Broiler Hatching Eggs and Chicks, done at Washington, D.C., on September 13, 1990; or

(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Chrystia Freeland, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, or John Hannaford, Deputy Minister for International Trade, or Steve Verheul, Assistant Deputy Minister, Trade Policy and Negotiations, or Kirsten Hillman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the United States of America, to take the actions necessary to terminate, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Exchange of Letters constituting an Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America concerning Imports of Broiler Hatching Eggs and Chicks, done at Washington, D.C., on September 13, 1990.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise :

a) soit le premier ministre ou le ministre des Affaires étrangères à prendre les mesures nécessaires pour mettre fin, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, à l’Échange de Lettres constituant un Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique sur les importations d’œufs d’incubation de poulet de chair et de poussins, fait à Washington le 13 septembre 1990;

b) soit le ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Chrystia Freeland, vice-première ministre et ministre des Affaires intergouvernementales, John Hannaford, sous-ministre du Commerce international, Steve Verheul, sous-ministre adjoint, Politique et négociations commerciales, ou Kirsten Hillman, ambassadrice extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire du Canada auprès des États-Unis d’Amérique, à prendre les mesures nécessaires pour mettre fin, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, à l’Échange de Lettres constituant un Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique sur les importations d’œufs d’incubation de poulet de chair et de poussins, fait à Washington le 13 septembre 1990.
