Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 3 and subsection 10.1(2) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Act,

(a) appoints Ellen C. Desmond, Q.C., of Rothesay, New Brunswick, to be a full-time member of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years; and

(b) designates Ellen C. Desmond, Q.C., for the Atlantic region and Nunavut, as established under subsection 10(1.1) of that Act;

effective July 20, 2020.

Sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 3 et du paragraphe 10.1(2) de la Loi sur le Conseil de la radiodiffusion et des télécommunications canadiennes, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) nomme Ellen C. Desmond, c.r., de Rothesay (Nouveau-Brunswick), conseillère à temps plein du Conseil de la radiodiffusion et des télécommunications canadiennes, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b) désigne Ellen C. Desmond, c.r., pour la région de l’Atlantique et Nunavut, établi sous le régime du paragraphe 10(1.1) de cette loi;

à compter du 20 juillet 2020.
