Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 6 of the Bank of Canada Act, approves the appointment made by the Directors of the Bank of Canada of Tiff Macklem of Toronto, Ontario, to be Governor of the Bank of Canada, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of seven years, and approves his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as determined by the Directors and as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($463,100 - $544,800), effective June 3, 2020.

 

Sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu de l’article 6 de la Loi sur la Banque du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve la nomination par les administrateurs de la Banque du Canada de Tiff Macklem, de Toronto (Ontario), au poste de gouverneur de la Banque du Canada, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de sept ans, et approuve sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi, tel que fixé par les administrateurs, conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (463 100 $ – 544 800 $), à compter du 3 juin 2020.
