                Whereas the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, pursuant to paragraph 4(1)(a) of the Farm Income Protection Act, has entered into each of the agreements referred to in paragraphs (a) to (k) with one or more provinces;

                And whereas the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food shall provide, to each province that is a party to those agreements, a minimum of two years notice of the intention to terminate them;

                Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraph 9(2)(a) of the Farm Income Protection Act, hereby approves the termination by the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food of the following agreements effective March 31, 2006:

(a) the Federal-Provincial Agreement Establishing the Net Income Stabilization Account Program;

(b) the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Crop Insurance Agreement;

(c) the Canada-Nova Scotia Crop Insurance Agreement;

(d) the Canada-New Brunswick Crop Insurance Agreement;

(e) the Canada-Prince Edward Island Crop Insurance Agreement;

(f) the Canada-Quebec Crop Insurance Agreement;

(g) the Canada-Ontario Crop Insurance Agreement;

(h) the Canada-Manitoba Crop Insurance Agreement;

(i) the Canada-Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Agreement;

(j) the Canada-Alberta Crop Insurance Agreement;

(k) the Canada-British Columbia Crop Insurance Agreement.

                Attendu que le ministre de l’Agriculture et de l’Agroalimentaire, en vertu de l’alinéa 4(1)a) de la Loi sur la protection du revenu agricole, a conclu chacun des accords visés aux alinéas a) à k) avec une ou plusieurs provinces;

                Attendu que le ministre de l’Agriculture et de l’Agroalimentaire donnera à chaque province partie à ces accords un préavis d’au moins deux ans de son intention de mettre fin à ces accords,

                À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Agriculture et de l’Agroalimentaire et du Conseil du Trésor et en vertu de l’alinéa 9(2)a) de la Loi sur la protection agricole, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve la résiliation par le ministre de l’Agriculture et de l’Agroalimentaire des accords ci-après qui prendra effet le 31 mars 2006 :

a) l’Accord fédéral-provincial instituant le programme Compte de stabilisation du revenu net;

b) l’Entente Canada-Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador sur l’assurance-récolte;

c) l’Entente Canada-Nouvelle-Écosse sur l’assurance-récolte;

d) l’Entente Canada-Nouveau-Brunswick sur l’assurance-récolte;

e) l’Entente Canada-Île-du-Prince-Édouard sur l’assurance-récolte;

f) l’Entente Canada-Québec sur l’assurance-récolte;

g) l’Entente Canada-Ontario sur l’assurance-récolte;

h) l’Entente Canada-Manitoba sur l’assurance-récolte;

i) l’Entente Canada-Saskatchewan sur l’assurance-récolte;

j) l’Entente Canada- Alberta sur l’assurance-récolte;

k) l’Entente Canada-Colombie-Britannique sur l’assurance-récolte.
