Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister:

(a) pursuant to subsection 4(2) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, appoints Lori MacDonald of Greater Napanee, Ontario, to be Associate Deputy Minister of Employment and Social Development, to be styled Senior Associate Deputy Minister of Employment and Social Development and Chief Operating Officer for Service Canada, to hold office during pleasure;

(b) pursuant to paragraph 20(2)(b) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, appoints Lori MacDonald as a Commissioner of the Canada Employment Insurance Commission, who shall be the Vice-Chairperson of the Commission; and

(c) fixes her remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($232,700 - $273,700),

effective January 27, 2020.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil : 

a) en vertu du paragraphe 4(2) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social nomme Lori MacDonald, de Greater Napanee (Ontario), sous-ministre déléguée de l’Emploi et du Développement social, devant porter le titre de sous-ministre déléguée principale de l’Emploi et du Développement social et chef de l’exploitation pour Service Canada, à titre amovible;

b) en vertu de l’alinéa 20(2)b) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, nomme Lori MacDonald au poste de commissaire de la Commission de l’assurance-emploi du Canada, qui en est la vice-présidente de la Commission;

c) fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (232 700 $ - 273 700 $),

à compter du 27 janvier 2020.
