Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister:

(a)  pursuant to subsection 8(1) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act, appoints Leslie MacLean of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, to hold office during pleasure;

(b)  pursuant to subsection 8(2) of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act, designates Leslie MacLean to be Deputy Minister for International Development to be styled Deputy Minister of International Development; and

(c)  fixes her remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($232,700 - $273,700);

effective December 9, 2019.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a)  en vertu du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur le ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, nomme Leslie MacLean, d’Ottawa (Ontario), sous-ministre déléguée des Affaires étrangères, à titre amovible;

b)  en vertu du paragraphe 8(2) de la Loi sur le ministère des Affaires étrangères, du Commerce et du Développement, désigne Leslie MacLean comme sous-ministre du Développement international;

c)  fixe sa rémunération conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (232 700 $ – 273 700 $);

à compter du 9 décembre 2019.
