Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, pursuant to subsection 6(3) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, appoints Kevin Richard Jones of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to the rank of Deputy Commissioner, to hold office during pleasure.
