The Committee of the Privy Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, advises that the Honourable Geoffrey B. Morawetz, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario and a Judge ex officio of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, be appointed Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, and a Judge ex officio of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, effective July 1, 2019.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, le Comité du Conseil privé recommande que l’honorable Geoffrey B. Morawetz, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario et membre d’office de la Cour d’appel de l’Ontario, soit nommé juge en chef de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, et membre d’office de la Cour d’appel de l’Ontario, à compter du 1^er juillet 2019.
