Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to section 24 of An Act to amend the Export and Import Permits Act and the Criminal Code (amendments permitting the accession to the Arms Trade Treaty and other amendments), chapter 26 of the Statutes of Canada, 2018, fixes September 1, 2019 as the day on which that Act comes into force, other than section 20, which came into force on assent.

 

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères et en vertu de l’article 24 de la Loi modifiant la Loi sur les licences d’exportation et d’importation et le Code criminel (modifications permettant l’adhésion au Traité sur le commerce des armes et autres modifications), chapitre 26 des Lois du Canada (2018), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil fixe au 1^er septembre 2019 la date d’entrée en vigueur de cette loi, à l’exception de l’article 20, lequel est entré en vigueur à la sanction.
