Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of State styled Minister of Indigenous Services, in accordance with the Agreement on Terms of Land Transfer for Expansion of the Samiajij Miawpukek Indian Reserve dated March 30, 2005 and the Restatement of an Agreement on Terms of Land Transfer for Expansion of the Samiajij Miawpukek Indian Reserve dated August 26, 2014, sets apart for the use and benefit of the Miawpukek First Nation, as an addition to Samiajij Miawpukek reserve in Newfoundland and Labrador, the land described in the attached schedule, consisting of 1,173 hectares (2,898 acres), including riparian and similar rights, but excluding mines and minerals.
