Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 3 of the Department for Women and Gender Equality Act, appoints Diane Jacovella of Gatineau, Quebec, Deputy Minister for International Development, styled Deputy Minister of International Development, to be concurrently Deputy Minister of Women and Gender Equality, on an interim basis, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes her remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($232,700 - $273,700), effective May 6, 2019.
