Whereas the Honourable Mark G. Peacock, a puisne judge of the Superior Court of Quebec for the district of Montréal, has become afflicted with a permanent infirmity disabling him from the due execution of his office and has tendered his resignation;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice,

(a) accepts the resignation of the Honourable Mark G. Peacock; and

(b) pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(c) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable Mark G. Peacock an annuity of $214,400, commencing on the date of the making of this Order in Council and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Mark G. Peacock, juge de la Cour supérieure du Québec pour le district de Montréal, a donné sa démission pour incapacité par suite d’une infirmité permanente,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) accepte la démission de l’honorable Mark G. Peacock;

b) en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)c) de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à l’honorable Mark G. Peacock une pension viagère annuelle de 214 400 $, payable à compter de la date de prise du présent décret.
