                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency), pursuant to section 105 of the Financial Administration Act, hereby appoints Rick Beaton, Vice-President of Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation, of Sydney River, Nova Scotia, to be concurrently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Cape Breton Growth Fund Corporation, to hold office during pleasure on a part-time basis, for a term of three years, or until the dissolution of the Cape Breton Growth Fund Corporation, whichever occurs first, effective September 6, 2003.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre d’État (Agence de promotion économique du Canada atlantique) et en vertu de l’article 105 de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Rick Beaton, vice-président de la Société d’expansion du Cap-Breton, de Sydney River (Nouvelle-Écosse), concurrement président et premier dirigeant de la Corporation Fonds d’investissement du Cap-Breton, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de trois ans, à temps partiel ou sur la dissolution de la Corporation Fonds d’investissement du Cap-Breton, la première de ces éventualités étant retenue, à compter du 6 septembre 2003.
