Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians Act and following the consultation referred to in subsection 5(3) of that Act, appoints the Honourable Robert Douglas Nicholson, P.C., Q.C., a member of the House of Commons who belongs to a party that is not the government party, to be a member of the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians, to hold office during pleasure until the dissolution of Parliament following his appointment.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, après consultation aux termes du paragraphe 5(3) de la Loi sur le Comité des parlementaires sur la sécurité nationale et le renseignement, et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de cette loi, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme l’honorable Robert Douglas Nicholson, C.P., c.r., membre d’un parti autre que le parti gouvernemental, à titre de membre du Comité des parlementaires sur la sécurité nationale et le renseignement, à titre amovible jusqu’à la dissolution du Parlement qui suit sa nomination.
