Whereas, under the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, goods that originate in a CPTPP country are entitled to a CPTPP tariff;

Therefore, to extend the entitlement to the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership Tariff to all eligible goods that originate in Australia, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore and Vietnam, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 52.61(1) of the Customs Tariff, makes the annexed Order Amending the Schedule to the Customs Tariff (Extension of a CPTPP Tariff to Australia, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore and Vietnam).

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu du paragraphe 52.61(1) du Tarif des douanes, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend, pour accorder le bénéfice du tarif du partenariat transpacifique global et progressiste à toutes les marchandises admissibles originaires de l’Australie, du Japon, du Mexique, de la Nouvelle-Zélande, de Singapour ou du Vietnam, le Décret modifiant l’annexe du Tarif des douanes (octroi d’un tarif PTPGP à l’Australie, au Japon, au Mexique, à la Nouvelle-Zélande, à Singapour et au Vietnam), ci-après.
