Whereas the Honourable Marie St-Pierre, a puisne judge of the Court of Appeal of Quebec, who has attained the age of fifty-five years, who has continued in judicial office for at least ten years and who has elected early retirement with an immediate annuity, has tendered her resignation effective December 1, 2018;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice,

(a) accepts the resignation of the Honourable Marie St-Pierre; and

(b) pursuant to subsection 43.1(1) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable Marie St-Pierre an annuity of $203,310.34, commencing on December 1, 2018 and continuing during her life.

Attendu que l’honorable Marie St-Pierre, juge de la Cour d’appel du Québec, ayant atteint l’âge de cinquante-cinq ans, ayant au moins dix ans d’ancienneté dans la magistrature et ayant choisi une retraite anticipée avec une pension immédiate, a donné sa démission, laquelle prend effet le 1^er décembre 2018,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) accepte la démission de l’honorable Marie St-Pierre;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 43.1(1) de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à l’honorable Marie St-Pierre une pension viagère annuelle de 203 310,34 $, payable à compter du 1^er décembre 2018.
