Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Exchange of Notes between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America constituting an agreement amending Annex IV of the Treaty between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America concerning Pacific Salmon done at Ottawa on 28 January 1985, as amended; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans; David MacNaughton, Ambassador of Canada to the United States of America; Sean Casey, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans; or Catherine Blewett, Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Exchange of Notes between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America constituting an agreement amending Annex IV of the Treaty between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America concerning Pacific Salmon, done at Ottawa on 28 January 1985, as amended.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celle-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Échange de notes entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique constituant un accord modifiant l’Annexe IV du Traité entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique concernant le saumon du Pacifique, fait à Ottawa le 28 janvier 1985, tel que modifié;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Jonathan Wilkinson, ministre des Pêches et des Océans, David MacNaughton, ambassadeur du Canada auprès des États-Unis d’Amérique, Sean Casey, secrétaire parlementaire du ministre des Pêches et des Océans, ou Catherine Blewett, sous-ministre des Pêches et des Océans, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Échange de notes entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique constituant un accord modifiant l’Annexe IV du Traité entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des États-Unis d’Amérique concernant le saumon du Pacifique, fait à Ottawa le 28 janvier 1985, tel que modifié.
