Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing James Gordon Carr, Minister for International Trade; Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Natural Resources; Ian Shugart, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Janice Charette, High Commissioner for Canada to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Permanent Representative of Canada to the International Maritime Organisation; or Mark Gwozdecky, Assistant Deputy Minister for International Security and Political Affairs, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celle-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de coopération entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord en matière d’utilisations pacifiques de l’énergie nucléaire;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant James Gordon Carr, ministre du Commerce international, Amarjeet Sohi, ministre des Ressources naturelles, Ian Shugart, sous-ministre des Affaires étrangères, Janice Charrette, haute-commissaire du Canada au Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord et représentante permanente du Canada auprès de l’Organisation maritime internationale, ou Mark Gwozdecky, sous-ministre adjoint, Sécurité internationale et affaires politiques, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de coopération entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord en matière d’utilisations pacifiques de l’énergie nucléaire.
