Whereas by Order in Council P.C. 1999-148 of February 4, 1999, the resignation of the Honourable Keith M. Gibson, a judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, was accepted and he was granted an annuity of $117,200 commencing on January 1, 1999;

And whereas the Honourable Keith M. Gibson died on June 30, 2018, leaving a survivor, Barbara Gibson;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $58,600 to Barbara Gibson, commencing on July 1, 2018 and continuing during her life.

Attendu que, en vertu du décret C.P. 1999-148 du 4 février 1999, la démission de l’honorable Keith M. Gibson, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, a été acceptée, et qu’il recevait une pension de 117 200 $ depuis le 1^er janvier 1999;

Attendu que l’honorable Keith M. Gibson est décédé le 30 juin 2018 et qu’il laisse une survivante, Barbara Gibson,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 44 de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde à Barbara Gibson une pension viagère annuelle de 58 600 $, payable à compter du 1^er juillet 2018.
