Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 3 of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development Act, appoints Daniel Watson of Edmonton, Alberta, to be Deputy Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, to be styled Deputy Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($232,700 - $273,700), effective October 9, 2018.
