Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment and Social Development:

(a) pursuant to subsections 45(1), (4) and (5) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, appoints Paul Aterman of Ottawa, Ontario, to be a full-time member of the Social Security Tribunal, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years;

(b) pursuant to subsection 45(2) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, designates Paul Aterman of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Chairperson of the Social Security Tribunal; and

(c) pursuant to subsection 49(1) of Department of Employment and Social Development Act, fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 7 ($211,300 - $248,500);

effective September 17, 2018.

Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Emploi et du Développement social, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) en vertu des paragraphes 45(1), (4) et (5) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, nomme Paul Aterman, d’Ottawa (Ontario), membre à temps plein du Tribunal de la sécurité sociale, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 45(2) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, désigne Paul Aterman, d’Ottawa (Ontario), président du Tribunal de la sécurité sociale;

c) en vertu du paragraphe 49(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 7 (211 300 $ – 248 500 $);

à compter du 17 septembre 2018.
