Whereas, pursuant to subsection 5(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness and the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration have caused a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, substantially in the annexed form, to be laid before each House of Parliament;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness and the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsection 5(1) and sections 43 and 61 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.

Attendu que le ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile et le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, conformément au paragraphe 5(2) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, ont fait déposer le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, conforme en substance au texte ci-après, devant chaque chambre du Parlement,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile et du ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) et des articles 43 et 61 de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, ci-après.
