Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to section 153 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, appoints Richard Wex of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Chairperson of the Immigration and Refugee Board, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($265,300 - $311,100), effective July 23, 2018.
