Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to sections 6 and 12 of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Act, appoints Michael Joseph Strong of London, Ontario, to be President of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($314,100 - $369,500), effective October 1, 2018.
