                 Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport and the Treasury Board, pursuant to section 48 of the Canada Transportation Act, hereby

(a) amends Order in Council P.C. 2001-506 of March 30, 2001 by removing the reference to the Government of the Province of Ontario in that Order; and

(b) approves the entry by the Minister of Transport into an agreement with the Government of Ontario, in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the annexed draft agreement, providing for a contribution of up to $168 million, under the Highway Construction Component of the Strategic Highway Infrastructure Program.

                Sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et du Conseil du Trésor et en vertu de l’article 48 de la Loi sur les transports au Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) modifie le décret C.P. 2001-506 du 30 mars 2001 en y supprimant la mention du gouvernement de la province d’Ontario;

b) agrée la conclusion par le ministre des Transports d’un accord avec le gouvernement de l’Ontario, conforme aux conditions précisées dans le projet d’accord ci-après, prévoyant le versement d’une contribution pouvant atteindre 168 millions de dollars au titre du volet construction routière du Programme stratégique d’infrastructures routières.
