Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to paragraph 48(2)(a) of the Broadcasting Act, approves that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, as landlord, for a total consideration in excess of $4,000,000:

(a) enter into a lease agreement with Uken Studios, Inc., as tenant, to lease a portion of the real property located at 250 Front Street West in Toronto, Ontario, for a term of ten years;

(b) grant, in favour of Uken Studios, Inc., an option to renew the lease referred to in paragraph (a) for two further periods of five years each; and

(c) grant, in favour of Uken Studios, Inc., an option, subject to acceptance by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, to increase the square footage of the leased space by up to 50%.

Sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu du paragraphe 48(2) de la Loi sur la radiodiffusion, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil agrée que la Société Radio-Canada, à titre de bailleur et pour une valeur totale dépassant quatre millions de dollars :

a) conclue un bail avec Uken Studios, Inc., à titre de locataire, relativement à la location d’une partie d’un bien immeuble situé au 250, rue Front Ouest, Toronto (Ontario) pour une durée de dix ans;

b) octroie à Uken Studios, Inc., une option de renouvellement du bail visé à l’alinéa a) pour deux périodes additionnelles de cinq ans chacune;

c) octroie à Uken Studios, Inc., une option de demander un espace additionnel, sous réserve de l’acceptation par la Société Radio-Canada, d’au plus cinquante pour cent de la superficie, en pieds carrés, des locaux loués.
