                     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, pursuant to section 5 of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Act, hereby approves that that Minister, on behalf of Her Majesty in right of Canada, enter into the Canada-Nova Scotia Memorandum of Understanding on Recreational Fisheries with the Government of Nova Scotia, substantially in accordance with the annexed draft Memorandum of Understanding.

                     Sur recommandation du ministre des Pêches et des Océans et en vertu de l’article 5 de la Loi sur le ministère des Pêches et des Océans, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil agrée la conclusion par ce ministre, au nom de Sa Majesté du chef du Canada, avec le gouvernement de la Nouvelle-Ecosse, du Protocole d’entente entre le Canada et la Nouvelle-Écosse sur la pêche récréative, conforme en substance au projet de protocole ci-après.
