Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorizes:

(a) the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Protocol Amending the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the State of Israel; or

(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing François-Philippe Champagne, Minister for International Trade; Timothy Sargent, Deputy Minister for International Trade; Steve Verheul, Assistant Deputy Minister, Trade Policy and Negotiations; or Deborah Lyons, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the State of Israel, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Protocol Amending the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the State of Israel.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise :

a) soit le premier ministre ou la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, le Protocole portant amendement de l’Accord de libre-échange entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de l’État d’Israël;

b) soit la ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant François-Philippe Champagne, ministre du Commerce international, Timothy Sargent, sous-ministre du Commerce international, Steve Verheul, sous-ministre adjoint, Politique et négociations commerciales, ou Deborah Lyons, ambassadrice extraordinaire et plénipotentiaire du Canada auprès de l’État d’Israël, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, le Protocole portant amendement de l’Accord de libre-échange entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement de l’État d’Israël.
