Whereas the Honourable Alan D. MacInnes, a Judge of Appeal of the Court of Appeal for Manitoba, will attain the age of seventy-five years on May 1, 2018, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date pursuant to subsection 99(2) of the Constitution Act, 1867;

And whereas the Honourable Alan D. MacInnes has held judicial office for at least ten years;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, grants an annuity of $214,400 to the Honourable Alan D. MacInnes, commencing on May 1, 2018 and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Alan D. MacInnes, juge de la Cour d’appel du Manitoba, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 1^er mai 2018 et que, en conséquence, il cessera d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu du paragraphe 99(2) de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

Attendu que l’honorable Alan D. MacInnes a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde à l’honorable Alan D. MacInnes une pension viagère annuelle de 214 400 $, payable à compter du 1^er mai 2018.
