Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 3 and subsection 6(1) of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal Act, appoints Jean Bédard, Q.C., of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Chairperson of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, to hold office during good behaviour for a term ending on July 31, 2020, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 8 ($230,800 - $271,500).

Sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu de l’article 3 et du paragraphe 6(1) de la Loi sur le Tribunal canadien du commerce extérieur, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Jean Bédard, c.r., d’Ottawa (Ontario), président du Tribunal canadien du commerce extérieur, à titre inamovible pour un mandat se terminant le 31 juillet 2020, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 8 (230 800 $ – 271 500 $).
