Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, pursuant to sections 3 and 5 of the Farm Products Agencies Act:

(a) appoints Brian Douglas of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, to be a member of the National Farm Products Council, to hold office during pleasure for a term of four years;

(b) designates Brian Douglas as chairman of the National Farm Products Council; and

(c) fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 6 ($174,700 - $205,500);

effective June 11, 2018.

Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Agriculture et de l’Agroalimentaire et en vertu des articles 3 et 5 de la Loi sur les offices des produits agricoles, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a)  nomme Brian Douglas, de Charlottetown (Île-du-Prince-Édouard), membre du Conseil national des produits agricoles, à titre amovible pour un mandat de quatre ans;

b) désigne Brian Douglas, président du Conseil national des produits agricoles;

c) fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 6 (174 700 $ – 205 500 $);

à compter du 11 juin 2018.
