Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to sections 36 and 43 of the Broadcasting Act, makes the annexed Order Appointing the President of the Canada Broadcasting Corporation.


Sur la recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu des articles 36 et 43 de la Loi sur la radiodiffusion, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Décret de nomination de la présidente-directrice générale de la Société Radio-Canada, ci-après.

 


Order Appointing the President of the Canada Broadcasting Corporation

 

 

Appointment

 

1. Catherine Tait is appointed as President of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years.

 

Remuneration and Certain Conditions of Employment

 

2. The remuneration and certain conditions of employment of the person referred to in section 1 are set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range CEO 7 ($371,200 - $436,700).

 

Coming into Force

 

3(1) This order comes into force on a day to be fixed by amendment of this subsection.

 

(2) This order is repealed if it does not come into force on or before August 1, 2018.

 


Décret de nomination de la présidente-directrice générale de la Société Radio-Canada

 

 

Nomination

 

1. Catherine Tait est nommée présidente-directrice générale de la Société Radio-Canada, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans.

 

Rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi

 

2. La rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi de la personne nommée à l’article 1 prévues à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle CEO 7 (­­­371 200 $ – 436 700 $).

 

Entrée en vigueur

 

3(1) Le présent décret entre en vigueur à la date fixée par modification du présent paragraphe.

 

(2) Le présent décret est réputé abrogé s’il n’est pas en vigueur le 1er août 2018.
