Whereas, pursuant to subsection 6(4) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, the Commissioner has appointed the persons named in the attached schedule to a rank of officer;

Whereas, pursuant to subsection 6(5) of that Act, the Governor in Council may authorize the issue of a commission under the Great Seal to an officer on the officer’s first appointment to the rank of officer or on the recommendation of the Commissioner;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, pursuant to subsection 6(5) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Act, authorizes the issue of a commission under the Great Seal to the officers named in the attached schedule.

Attendu que, en vertu du paragraphe 6(4) de la Loi sur la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, le commissaire a nommé au grade d’officier les personnes dont le nom figure à l’annexe ci-jointe;

Attendu que, en vertu du paragraphe 6(5) de cette loi, le gouverneur en conseil peut autoriser l’émission d’une commission sous le grand sceau à un officier lors de sa première nomination ou sur recommandation du commissaire,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile et en vertu du paragraphe 6(5) de la Loi sur la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise l’émission d’une commission sous le grand sceau aux officiers dont le nom figure à l’annexe ci-jointe.
