 Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister for International Trade:

(a)  pursuant to subsection 15(1) of the Invest in Canada Act, appoints Ian G. McKay of Vancouver, British Columbia, to be Chief Executive Officer of the Invest in Canada Hub, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years;

(b)  pursuant to subsection 15(3) of the Invest in Canada Act, fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GC 8 ($196,600 - $231,200); and

(c)  pursuant to subsection 22(1) of the Invest in Canada Act, orders that Ian G. McKay be deemed to be employed in the Public Service for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act;

effective March 12, 2018.

Sur recommandation du ministre du Commerce international, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a)  en vertu du paragraphe 15(1) de la Loi sur Investir au Canada, nomme Ian G. McKay, de Vancouver, Colombie-Britannique, président-directeur général de Investir au Canada, à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b)  en vertu du paragraphe 15(3) de la Loi sur Investir au Canada, fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GC 8 (196 600 $ – 231 200 $);

c)  en vertu du paragraphe 22(1) de la loi sur Investir au Canada, ordonne que Ian G. McKay soit réputé faire partie de la fonction publique pour l’application de la Loi sur la pension de la fonction publique;

à compter du 12 mars 2018.
