                 Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to paragraph 39(1)(c) of the Indian Act, hereby accepts the designation made to Her Majesty in right of Canada by the Piapot Band of a portion of Piapot Indian Reserve No. 75 and Piapot Cree First Nation Indian Reserve Nos. 75‟E”, 75‟F”, 75‟G”, 75‟H”, 75‟I”, 75‟J” and 75‟K”, in the Province of Saskatchewan, for the exploration and exploitation of oil and gas, which designation was assented to by the band on September 26, 2002 and is set out in the annexed schedule.

                 Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien et en vertu de l’alinéa 39(1)c) de la Loi sur les Indiens, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accepte la désignation faite à Sa Majesté du chef du Canada par la bande Piapot d'une partie de la réserve indienne Piapot nº 75 et de la réserve indienne Piapot Cree First Nation n^os 75‟E”, 75‟F”, 75‟G”, 75‟H”, 75‟I”, 75‟J” et 75‟K”, dans la province de la Saskatchewan, à des fins d’exploration et d’exploitation de pétrole et de gaz, laquelle désignation a été sanctionnée par la bande le 26 septembre 2002 et est visée à l'annexe ci-après.
