Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 130(b) of the Public Service Employment Act, appoints Richard Denis of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Clerk of the Senate and Clerk of the Parliaments on an interim basis, to hold office during pleasure, until such time as a Clerk of the Senate and Clerk of the Parliaments is appointed, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GC 6 ($148,900 - $175,100), effective January 31, 2018.
