Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 127.1(1)(a) of the Public Service Employment Act, appoints Paul Thompson of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Associate Deputy Minister of Industry, to be styled Associate Deputy Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($192,600 - $226,500), effective November 20, 2017.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’alinéa 127.1(1)a) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Paul Thompson, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de sous-ministre délégué de l’Industrie, devant porter le titre de sous-ministre délégué de l’Innovation, des Sciences et du Développement économique, à titre amovible, et fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (192 600 $ – 226 500 $), à compter du 20 novembre 2017.
