Whereas the Honourable Bruce M. Greyell, a Judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, will attain the age of seventy-five years on November 24, 2017, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of subsection 99(2) of the Constitution Act, 1867;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to subsection 42(2) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable Bruce M. Greyell an annuity of $178,670 commencing on November 24, 2017 and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Bruce M. Greyell, juge de la Cour suprême de la Colombie-Britannique, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 24 novembre 2017 et que, en conséquence, il cessera d’occuper sa charge à cette date en vertu du paragraphe 99(2) de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre de la Justice et en vertu du paragraphe 42(2) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde à l’honorable Bruce M. Greyell une pension viagère annuelle de 178 670 $, payable à compter du 24 novembre 2017.
