Whereas the Brighton and District Chamber of Commerce has applied, pursuant to section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, to change its name to the “Brighton-Cramahe Chamber of Commerce”;

And whereas the Governor General in Council is satisfied that the name change is not desired for any improper purpose and is not otherwise objectionable;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, approves the application by the Brighton and District Chamber of Commerce to change its name to the “Brighton-Cramahe Chamber of Commerce”.

Attendu que la Brighton and District Chamber of Commerce a présenté, en vertu de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, une demande visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour « Brighton-Cramahe Chamber of Commerce »;

Attendu que la gouverneure générale en conseil est convaincue que le changement de dénomination n’est pas recherché dans un but irrégulier et n’est pas autrement susceptible d’objection,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie et en vertu de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil approuve la demande de la Brighton and District Chamber of Commerce visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour « Brighton-Cramahe Chamber of Commerce ».
