His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 7 of the National Defence Act, appoints Jody Thomas of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Deputy Minister of National Defence, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes her remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($221,300 - $260,300), effective October 23, 2017.
