His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment and Social Development:

(a) pursuant to subsections 45(1), (4) and (5) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, appoints Guy Giguère of Ottawa, Ontario, as a full-time member of the Social Security Tribunal, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of five years;

(b) pursuant to subsection 45(2) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, designates Guy Giguère of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Vice-Chairperson of the Appeal Division; and

(c) pursuant to subsection 49(1) of the Department of Employment and Social Development Act, fixes his remuneration and certain conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 5;

effective October 2, 2017.

Sur recommandation du ministre de l’Emploi et du Développement social, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) en vertu des paragraphes 45(1), (4) et (5) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, nomme Guy Giguère, d’Ottawa (Ontario), membre à temps plein du Tribunal de la sécurité sociale, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de cinq ans;

b) en vertu du paragraphe 45(2) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, désigne Guy Giguère, d’Ottawa (Ontario), vice-président de la division d’appel;

c) en vertu du paragraphe 49(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de l’Emploi et du Développement social, fixe sa rémunération et certaines conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle GCQ 5;

à compter du 2 octobre 2017.
