 Whereas the Minister of Justice has nominated John M. Hickes to be a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for Nunavut;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to Order in Council P.C. 2017-10 of January 19, 2017, appoints John M. Hickes of Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, as a member of the Independent Judicial Advisory Committee for Nunavut, to hold office during pleasure for a term expiring March 1, 2019.

Attendu que la ministre de la Justice a proposé que John M. Hickes soit nommé à titre de membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour le Nunavut,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil, en vertu du décret C.P. 2017-10 du 19 janvier 2017, nomme John M. Hickes, de Rankin Inlet (Nunavut), membre du Comité consultatif indépendant à la magistrature pour le Nunavut, à titre amovible pour un mandat se terminant le 1^er mars 2019.
