His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, after consultation with the Canadian Judicial Council, pursuant to section 73 of the Judges Act, appoints Marc A. Giroux, of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Commissioner for Federal Judicial Affairs, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range GCQ 6 ($174,700 - $205,500).
