His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 20.2(2) of the Parliament of Canada Act, appoints Pierre Legault of Ottawa, Ontario, as interim Senate Ethics Officer, to hold office during good behaviour, for a term of six months, and pursuant to section 20.3 fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which per diem is within the range ($795 - $930), effective July 10, 2017.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du paragraphe 20.2(2) de la Loi sur le Parlement du Canada, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil confie à Pierre Legault, d’Ottawa (Ontario), l’intérim du conseiller sénatorial en éthique, à titre inamovible pour un mandat de six mois et en vertu du paragraphe 20.3 fixe son traitement conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel taux journalier se situe dans l’échelle (795 $ – 930 $), à compter du 10 juillet 2017.
