His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Appropriation Act No. 1, 2017–18, appoints Juan Alberto Speratti Riso to be Honorary Consul of Canada at Asunción, Republic of Paraguay, for a period of two years, and fixes his honorarium at the rate set out in the annexed schedule, which honorarium is within the range ($1,500 - $5,000), such appointment to be terminated by either the Minister of Foreign Affairs or Juan Alberto Speratti Riso, giving the other party a sixty-day written notice.

 

   Sur recommandation de la ministre des Affaires étrangères et en vertu de l’alinéa 2a) de la Loi de crédits n^o 1 pour 2017-2018, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil nomme Juan Alberto Speratti Riso au poste de consul honoraire du Canada à Asunción (République du Paraguay), pour une période de deux ans et fixe ses honoraires au taux figurant à l’annexe ci-jointe, lesquels honoraires se situent dans l’échelle (1 500 $ – 5 000 $). La ministre des Affaires étrangères ou Juan Alberto Speratti Riso peut mettre fin à la nomination en remettant un avis écrit de soixante jours à l’autre partie.
