Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, the Honourable Robert G. Richards, Chief Justice of Saskatchewan, will be unable to act from June 6 June 8, 2017, inclusive, and from June 25 to July 1, 2017, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for those periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867,

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert G. Richards as Administrator of the Government

of Saskatchewan, effective June 6, 2017;

(b) appoints the Honourable Peter A. Whitmore to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 6, 2017;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable

Peter A. Whitmore as Administrator of the Government

of Saskatchewan, effective June 9, 2017;

(d) appoints the Honourable Robert G. Richards to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 9, 2017;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert G. Richards as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective June 25, 2017;

(f) appoints the Honourable Maurice J. Herauf to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective June 25, 2017;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable

Maurice J. Herauf as Administrator of the Government

of Saskatchewan, effective July 2, 2017; and

(h) appoints the Honourable Robert G. Richards to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective July 2, 2017.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, l’honorable Robert G. Richards, juge en chef de la Saskatchewan, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 6 au 8 juin 2017 et du 25 juin au 1^er juillet 2017 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert G. Richards au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 6 juin 2017;

b) nomme l’honorable Peter A. Whitmore à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 6 juin 2017;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Peter A. Whitmore au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 9 juin 2017;

d) nomme l’honorable Robert G. Richards à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 9 juin 2017;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert G. Richards au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 25 juin 2017;

f) nomme l’honorable Maurice J. Herauf à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 25 juin 2017;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Maurice J. Herauf au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 2 juillet 2017;

h) nomme l’honorable Robert G. Richards à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 2 juillet 2017.
